Art_X Concert December 8: "Musica Humana/Musica Universalis" at EMPAC

Art_X, the cross-disciplinary project of the department of the Arts, presents "Musica Humana/Musica Universalis" at EMPAC Concert Hall, Thursday, December 8, 4:30 pm.

Curated and produced by Arts Professor Michael Century, the concert's theme is music and health, with health defined broadly, from the scientific to the spiritual.  The performances will be combined with video segments featuring interviews with and stories based on the research of Dr. Oliver Sacks.  Dr. Sacks, a physician, best-selling author, and a professor of neurology at the NYU School of Medicine, has been called “the poet laureate of medicine.”
