PLEASE NOTE START TIME: 5:30-7:30 PM iEAR Presents! will host a closing reception for artist Seana Biondolillo on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 from 5:30-7:30 PM in the West Hall Gallery (Room 111) on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Refreshments will be served. Limited street parking, behind West Hall and in the West Hall parking lot. Biondolillo ‘s exhibit “This is not my beautiful life!” features pieces cobbled together from old toys, leftovers from yard sales, and other odd objects. Biondolillo, a studio engineer who teaches digital imaging in the Arts Department at RPI, is a working artist with studios in Troy and New Paltz, New York. She has exhibited at the Contemporary Arts Center in North Adams, Massachusetts, Franklin Furnace in NYC, and Deep Listening Space in Kingston, NY among others. Her recent assemblage works are also on exhibit in the first floor display case at the Albany Public Library on Washington Avenue as part of the Albany Center Galleries. To quote David Brickman (Metroland), “She is definitely one to watch.” iEAR presents! is a series of public performances, exhibitions and lectures featuring pioneering and emerging artists who explore the boundaries of electronic art. Curated by the Arts Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, iEAR Presents! offers a unique local forum for some of today's most world-renowned electronic media artists.
