Peter Meyer is a research economist with the Division of Productivity Research and Program Development at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In his presentation, Peter talked about how early experimentation in aeronautics ultimately led to the development of the aviation industry. The presentation was also part of ECON 4110 Economic Analysis of Technological Change, providing undergraduate students with an opportunity to learn about the development of a major industry in the United States.
