Abstract:

Due to improvement in hardware and software has enabled the rapid sequential acquisition of high resolution MRI images.  This has enabled researchers to acquire brain images as the participants performs task/stimulus presented to them.  In this lecture, we will discuss the various methods currently used to optimize and detect brain regions associated with various tasks.  Further, its application both in neurosciences and clinical applications will be presented.
