Creative Writing Students Present End-of-Semester Readings

Creative Writing Students Present End-of-Semester Readings

DCC 174 & 137

In what is becoming a fun end-of-Fall-term tradition, Creative Writing students in C&M Prof. Shira Dentz's classes will read from their works on Thursday, December 10 and Friday, December 11, in the Darren Communications Center (DCC), rooms 174 and 137.

First up, Poetry students present a wide range of voices, poetic forms and subject matter on Thursday at 12 noon in DCC 174 (Black Box).  You'll laugh, cry, be awed and amazed and take home images!   Later that day, at 4:00 pm, also in DCC 174, Creative Nonfiction students share their best efforts in a reading guaranteed to make you think about nonfiction in a whole new way.

Finally, at 12 noon on Friday in DCC 137, get ready for some serious fiction action, 'cause the Short Story students know how to rock it!  Their memorable prose will haunt you in a good way.

Come and see what your fellow students have been writing about!  All readings are free and open to the RPI Community.
