VIRUS RISING, my necropolitical viral love I lived in New York City as a member of the downtown performance and independent filmmaking community during the 80s and the 90s. These were times of dissent and protest, of clubbing, sex, drugs and living with the AIDS epidemic. ACT UP led to direct action and civil disobedience, demanding the release of curing drugs for HIV virus. The regime changed, the virus propagated and mutated within. Three decades later, my attempt to reconcile with the pain of lost intimacy, ultimately led me to claim the virus as my own salvation.  A trajectory charged with detours and deviations since BRANDON (1998-1999) takes me to the newly released scifi cypherpunk feature FLUIDØ(2017) and an interruptive cinema UKI (2009 - ) currently in development. From homesteading the cyberspace in the 90s to my current retreat to the BioNet situated inside the occupied, reengineered human body, I hear the blood running, the virus rising.  Viral love, Bio hack, mobilize and resist, liberate the fluid, unleash the raw, uncensored body power, en force, en masse.
