The Economics Department's popular Seminar Series returns this Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 12:30 pm in Sage Labs 4711, with Prof. Arturo Estrella, who will discuss "The Economics of Recession."  Prof. Estrella's research focuses on debt, recession indicators, monetary policy, financial regulation, applied econometrics, and financial markets.

He has published extensively in the fields of finance, macroeconomics, monetary policy, bank regulation, and econometrics.
