Laura Wilder is an assistant professor of English at the University at Albany, SUNY. Her articles have appeared in Written Communication and Rhetoric Review.

She will present research drawn from her current book project which examines the rhetorical practices of literary studies as a disciplinary discourse community. Portions of this research have been funded by the Spencer Foundation.
