Sweden Game Arena: Game Design, Research, and Entrepreneurship

Marcus Toftedahl and Torbjörn Svensson from the University of Skövde in Sweden will discuss their undergraduate and Masters' programs in game design, and the Sweden Game Arena.  The university currently has over 500 students studying game design in 5 bachelors' degree programs and 2 Master's programs, one in Media, Esthetics and Narration, and one in Serious Games. 

Sweden Game Arena at the Gothia Science Park integrates a games incubator with the educational programs at the university, as well as research at the Interaction Lab and the Media, Technology, and Culture (MTEC) group.
