Graduates of the School of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences major in an extensive range of academic programs that integrate the traditional breadth and rigor of the liberal arts with state-of-the-art science and engineering technologies.The variety of the careers pursued by HASS graduates reflects important areas of academic concentration in HASS. HASS undergraduates who were pursuing either a single or a dual degree were registered in over 75 different degree program combination, often combining an HASS degree with a degree in engineering or computer science. The staff and faculty of HASS assist our students, either directly or working with the Rensselaer Career Development Center (CDC) and its resources, to provide guidance on possible career paths.
